3 December 2023
We work with 100+ mission-driven founders to help them achieve their ambitious growth plans — and find the passionate people who want to join them. Take a look at some of our recent key candidate placements at exciting startups and scaleups.
Imogen Marshall, PhD, Senior Product Manager at Guardian Angel
Since joining, Imogen has conducted customer focus groups to improve the online products, scoped and A/B tested the effectiveness of new features and successfully implemented a company-wide product process.
Guardian Angel, a privately-owned deathtech startup based in the UK, needed a highly capable Product Manager to work directly with the Founder on strategy, the product roadmap and creating organised and structured product systems.
The ideal candidate would be data-driven and user-centric, but also emotionally compassionate and sensitive due to the nature of the company’s mission of making death a more approachable subject.
Scene found Imogen, the Product Manager at software startup OpenPlay, where she was the sole Product Manager leading the development of an app from ideation through to gaining 80k+ users across 17 clients. During her PhD in Neuroscience, Imogen gained a passion for understanding human behaviour, so Guardian Angel’s mission resonated with her. Not only does she have valuable startup experience, but she is also adept at applying insights to enhance the user experience of technical products.
“I’ve absolutely loved having Imogen here — every interaction I have with her is great and she has got stuck in from the get go.”
